Illinois Classical Ballet, founded by the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet graduate Stella Voskovetskaya, is regarded as one of the best pre-professional ballet schools in the North Shore area of Chicago, Illinois. Our vision is to inspire the future of classical ballet by nurturing, training & educating young dancers on exceptional technical & artistic skills in preparation for a professional career in dance or attending a college performing arts program.
Upcoming Events
ICB’s Summer Intensive is a comprehensive and rigorous six-week program designed to provide serious dancers with a well-rounded dance education and exposure to the Vaganova-based curriculum. Taught by our esteemed faculty and experts in the ballet world in a professional atmosphere, ICB’s Summer Intensive Program delivers preeminent training to their dancers that has won recognition in the ballet world.
ICB Summer Intensive 2024
The Pre-Professional Training is a year-round program open to dancers ages 10-16 by audition only.
This program is designed for dedicated dancers eager to receive a more rigorous training regimen to help them develop/refine technique and artistry and prepare them for a professional career or a college performing arts program.
Individualized instructions, based on our staff's extensive professional performing career and solid pedagogical background, are provided for each student.
Registration is open for dancers seeking a serious program with performance and competition opportunities.
